I thoroughly enjoyed my visit with Dr. Whetstone and the medical student who assisted with my care. Dr. Whetstone conducted a comprehensive review of my health history, similar to what you'd expect from a family doctor, and offered to arrange referrals within the UCSF network to ensure I receive well-coordinated care for my overall health needs. She was exceptionally kind and gentle during my PAP exam, addressed all of my concerns thoughtfully, and never pressured me to pursue any treatments I wasn't ready for. I left the appointment feeling confident that I was receiving excellent care from what is likely one of the best physicians I've encountered.Following my visit, the specialists Dr. Whetstone referred me to contacted me promptly and scheduled new patient appointments right away. I'm extremely pleased to have found UCSF as my healthcare provider.
Please check with your health insurance plan regarding coverage for this type of care. Not all providers at UCSF Health are covered by every insurance plan.
