About me

Dr. Stanford Chun is a pediatric pulmonologist who cares for infants, children and adolescents with a wide range of respiratory conditions and breathing concerns. His special interests include cystic fibrosis, asthma and chronic lung disease. With a passion for delivering comprehensive, individualized care, he seeks to collaborate closely with families and care teams across specialties to support the best outcomes for his patients.

Chun earned his medical degree at the University of South Florida. He completed a residency in pediatrics at Rady Children's Health (formerly Children's Hospital of Orange County), an affiliate of the University of California, Irvine. He completed a fellowship in pediatric pulmonology at Children's Hospital Los Angeles.

Chun is a Bay Area native who spent the first 18 years of his life in San Francisco. After completing his medical training in Southern California, he was happy to return home to care for the community he considers his own. Outside of work, he enjoys swimming, biking, cooking, and exploring local spots and new restaurants with his family.
