About me
Jessica Keyser is a psychologist who specializes in caring for adolescents and young adults with eating disorders. She is also highly skilled in treating conditions that often occur alongside eating disorders, such as anxiety, depression and substance abuse. In her practice, she conducts assessments and provides therapies proven effective in the treatment of eating disorders, including cognitive behavioral therapy and family-based treatment.
In addition to treating patients, Keyser supervises psychology trainees and helps coordinate their training in the UCSF Eating Disorders Program.
Keyser received both her doctorate and master's degree in clinical psychology from Temple University, with an emphasis in developmental psychopathology. She also has a bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of California, Berkeley. She completed a fellowship at the San Francisco Veterans Affairs Health Care System.
Keyser has contributed to two books, Understanding Bipolar Disorder: A Developmental Psychopathology Approach and Risk Factors in Depression.
