About me
Dr. Hannah Perrin is a developmental-behavioral pediatrician, a specialist in evaluating and caring for infants and children with developmental issues. Her expertise includes developmental delay, autism, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and learning difficulties. She is especially interested in helping young children succeed in school.
In research, Perrin focuses on school readiness. She has studied school readiness in preschool-aged children with ADHD symptoms and conducted a medical education study evaluating a new curriculum for pediatrics trainees to use when assessing school readiness in their patients.
Perrin earned her medical degree at the University of Michigan Medical School. She completed a residency in pediatrics at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital Oakland, followed by a fellowship in developmental-behavioral pediatrics at Stanford University School of Medicine.
Perrin has a strong interest in international health. Before joining UCSF, she volunteered in Latin America and other parts of the world, assisting local health care providers.
Perrin has served as a co-chair and member of the advocacy committee of the Society for Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics. She has co-led workshops and conferences to train pediatricians and other health care professionals in advocacy.
Perrin is a member of the advocacy committees of both the American Academy of Pediatrics California Chapter 1 and the Society for Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics. She has co-led workshops and conferences to train pediatricians and other health care professionals in advocacy.
Perrin is a Bay Area native who loves being active outdoors; she especially enjoys hiking and cycling with her family.
